The Academy of Live-aboard Diving offers comprehensive, in depth training to future live-aboard crew members. The Academy was founded to fill a shortage of professionally trained, competent live-aboard dive professionals.

While there is a plethora of resort and “advanced” training opportunities available to dive professionals, experience has shown that many graduates of these programs only have a superficial knowledge of the skills that are necessary to thrive in the live-aboard environment.

The combination of four weeks of intensive classroom training along with two weeks of actual internship experience provides the optimal preparation for tomorrow’s live-aboard professionals. No other post-instructor training program in the industry offers the extensive learning experience that the Academy provides.
